Shadow Work

Deep process therapy

This work is deep and powerful.

I qualified as a one to one Healing The Shadow coach practitioner in 2021. Since then, alongside my own practice, I have been an assistant and, currently, a co-trainer on the 2 year Healing the Shadow Practitioner Training courses.

Healing The Shadow is a type of shadow work. It is a deep process psychotherapy. It is rooted in archetypal theory. In my personal shadow work practice I offer you a highly confidential space to explore, better understand and ultimately bring healing and transformation to your inner world. I work alongside and in collaboration with you - whether you are bringing shame guilt, trauma, anger, grief, blocks at work, or some of the multitude of struggles that bring people to shadow work. Perhaps you sometimes feel in a place of stuck-ness, hopelessness, or that you can no longer experience joy. There are many, many parts of us and ongoing life patterns and problems that we can start to address in shadow work. Click on sessions to find out more about what to expect in a session.

When you come to do shadow work, you may be looking for a deeper understanding of what is true for you, or seeking a deeper sense of emotional well-being. The work that you do with me will be guided by you, and I will support you to delve more deeply into whatever issue you find is present and relevant for you on the day of each session.

This work can be deeply healing and has the potential to bring about profound inner transformation. It can help you to bring more authenticity to your life, to your relationships and to your connections with others and the world around you. I will be facilitating your sessions at the pace and depth that you indicate is right for you. I offer a high level of holding and support throughout, which helps to create a safe foundation for very deep work. To find out more about me, please click here.

One of the fundamental beliefs I hold as a shadow work practitioner is that every one of us has the capacity to heal, and that we already possess the inner resources needed for that healing to take place.

“I felt as if I could expose what was in the deepest recesses of my being and wouldn’t be judged, and bring to light the hurt that I had held on to for so long.”
